What to do & why
Base defense is a risk decision. Consider the attacker, the event, your hospital space and whether the troops you put on defense can survive the fight.
- Choose your defense arrangement for the specific event; an ordinary base hit and a seasonal ability do not necessarily use the same rules.
- Ask for reinforcement before a fight you intend to hold. Check available hospital capacity and your recovery budget.
- Do not interpret removing a wall lineup as a guarantee that troops inside the base cannot be lost. Read the battle report and current event rules.

Evaluate a defense by the objective it protects and the actual wounded/dead counts in the report, rather than power alone.
What is confirmed—and what isn’t
Shield interactions with Summon Mummies, Muse abilities and Warlord missiles are not verified by the official sources reviewed. Do not rely on the archived image as a guarantee of protection.
