What to do & why
Trade Posts combine a capture contest with a shared shop. Ownership and buying access are different: the Governor controls the post, while the available stock is shared.
- The official-hosted reference describes a one-hour contest and requires a base in the surrounding black area for capture dispatches.
- For a neutral post, the reference uses highest progress at the end; taking a post from a Governor requires completing 100% during the contest.
- After capture, coordinate purchases and the Governor’s restock. Tax Golden Eggs and Governor-only benefits are separate from ordinary shop purchases.
The details behind the decision
Shared stock can sell out even if you have not used your personal allowance. A personal daily limit does not reserve an item for you.

Correction: do not assume every recapture is exactly seven days later. The cited guide describes a protection stage; use the live timer. Reference timings and limits remain subject to your server’s current rules.
