Choose a main squad before spreading scarce hero resources. A good development plan builds a functioning five-hero team with damage, protection and support.
- Place defense heroes at the front and damage/support behind them as a baseline. Adjust only for specific skill interactions.
- Invest around the lineup you actually deploy most often, while preserving enough development for the other modes you play.
- Compare stars, skills, gear and exclusive-weapon progression together rather than judging a hero only by rarity.
The details behind the decision
Baseline type bonuses and counter relationships matter, but do not replace equipment, survival and skill synergy. A stronger total-power lineup can still be a poor matchup.
What is confirmed—and what isn’t
The official-hosted lineup reference is community-contributed. The archive’s hero tier ordering is not an official ranking.
Strategy recommendations are GOD of War’s editorial advice. Official-wiki hosting does not turn player-contributed advice into a developer guarantee. When a number is not supported, this edition omits it rather than inventing a value.
